MS3 Corp. provided full phase architectural design for a new plaza interlocking facility, which is 100,000-sf, two storied above grade and three storied below grade structure interfaces with the four bored tunnels. The facility has four horizontally mounted ventilation fans, a facility power substation, communication rooms, mechanical spaces, sound attenuator rooms, an air plenum, emergency exit stairs and equipment shafts. Exterior features include: insulated cavity walls with brick veneers articulated with horizontal banding and shoulder course patterns and cmu backup wall; continuous and fixed louvers; standing seam metal and a built-up roofing system. Interior features included masonry walls, concrete and metal stairs, vertical ladders, railings, fence partitions, access and equipment hatches, floor gratings, insulated flooring, etc.
MS3 Corp. provided full phase design for a new yard services building, which is 23,000-sf and three storied above a grade steel framed structure with masonry infill. Three floors are interconnected by stairs and an ADA compliance elevator. The lower floor accommodates shop and storage functions, offices, and employee services such as employee lounges, locker rooms, and toilet rooms. The upper floors accommodate employee services, administrative spaces, training rooms, conference rooms and a control tower with a balcony for overviews of the yard. Energy saving strategy included a white reflective roof, insulated low-e fixed and operable windows, a green house, glass canopies, and energy efficient lighting, plumbing fixtures and an HVAC system.
MS3 Corp. provided architectural services for a new Emergency Exit, Substation, and Tunnel Ventilation Building, which is a four storied above grade steel framed structure with masonry infill. The exterior walls are insulated cavity walls with masonry infill. We also provided systems coordination, cost estimating support and bid support services.
The project required design of a new facility to support ventilation, communication, and a signal system to the rail tunnels. MS3 Corp. provided architectural services including code analysis, design progress meetings, integration of equipment into the facility and interior space layout, coordination with design consultants, construction documents, bid support, and shop drawing review for the four storied underground facility. Interior features included cmu walls, concrete stairs with railings, equipment access hatches, ships ladders, hoist beams, regular and pressurized doors, etc.

Interior features were interior stairs, equipment access hatches, hoist beams, air lock doors, regular and pressurized doors and floor gratings.
The project required the design of a new 22,000-sf underground ventilation facility, TP/FP substations, tunnel ventilation and support spaces, emergency exit stairs to provide egress from tunnel level to street level and the provision of ventilation and power to the rail tunnels. MS3 Corp. provided full phase architectural services including code analysis, design review meetings, coordination with design consultants, construction documents and bid support services.
The project required the design of a new three level below grade Wye structure to house facility and traction power substations and other service spaces. MS3 provided full phase architectural services including quality control, systems coordination and cost estimating support
The project required the design of new tunnel facilities to support train and station operations and to provide an access and egress for operating personnel who maintain the facility. MS3 Corp. provided full phase architectural services including coordination meetings with clients and other disciplines, contract documents, quality control, estimating support, bid support, etc.
The project required the design of a new tunnel facility to house pumps for the disposal of drainage discharge water from tunnel to street level. MS3 Corp. provided full phase architectural services, including coordination with design disciplines, meeting with clients, quality control, contract documents, and estimating support.
MS3 Corp. also provided architectural services for the horizontal and inclined cross passages, the 50th Street air plenum, the cross flue vent facility, and the signal central instrumentation facility.
MS3 Corp. provided full phase design services for the interior and exterior renovation of Harold Tower. Interior renovation included the replacement of ceiling systems, flooring systems, and bathroom fixtures. Exterior renovation included re-grouting the brick facade, repair work for concrete stair and concrete porch and new roofing system, window glazing, open grating stair and railing. MS3 Corp. also provided cost estimates and the bill of material.
Ms. Amin provided architectural design services for the Light Rail Station including two side platforms with contemporary style canopies, ADA accessibility ramps and pedestrian amenities such as ticket vending machines, wind screens, benches, etc. Ms Amin also coordinated with artists on the layout of Sun Dial plaza at the passenger drop off area.

Ms. Amin was involved in tunnel signage and trailblazer for all park-n-ride facilities for HBLRTS.
This station has two high-level side platforms, a station building and an overpass. Ms. Amin provided quality control and estimating support work for the renovation of the station building and the replacements of an overpass and stair/elevator towers.
The project included design of a new US Airways Cargo building at the Pittsburgh International Airport. Ms. Amin was involved in concept to final design coordination and contract documentation.

The project included the design of a new Air Train connection from Jamaica to all JFK Airport terminals. Ms. Amin was involved in the space layout work for paid/unpaid areas within the terminals. Ms. Amin also provided estimating support for 9 stations (Long Term Parking, American Airlines, TWA, British Air, Federal Circle, Howard Beach, Delta Air, TOGA and Jamaica).
